Mercer Motor Works' Multiple Tarping Sytems
Mercer Motor Works in Mercer, Maine offers a tarping system used for alternate daily cover that deploys and retrieves multiple (ballasted or unballasted) tarps that holds up to 12,000 sq.ft. at one time in minutes. TDS-30HC is easily moved and operated by your existing landfill equipment from D4 to D8 class bulldozers or CAT816 to CAT836 class compactors. Self powered so no other external power source is needed to operate, and no fixtures or brackets need to be added to your equipment. The TDS-30HC comes with a heavy duty remote control unit so it can be controlled from inside the cab by the operator.

The SSI M160HD Dual-ShearTM shredder has SSI's largest 2-shaft shredder and the standard offering for the most demanding applications. This large powerful rotary shear shredder is used as a primary shredder in all types of recycling operations processing items such as tires, e-scrap, and aluminum. The plants that use the M160HD are processing the toughest materials at the highest volumes. Today more and more challenging materials are required to be processed and in higher volumes than in the past. SSI engineers designed a system that would provide greater performance than our standard M160HD system and would allow users to process the most challenging materials at the highest rates.
